Indications for use
Breast cancer (especially in menopause); breast cancer (including in men after castration); kidney cancer; melanoma and soft tissue sarcoma containing estrogen receptors; ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer. Prostate cancer.
The use of analogues should be agreed with the attending physician.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation period. C caution. Eye diseases (including cataracts), hyperlipidemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, hypercalcemia, marked thrombophlebitis, thromboembolic disease (including a history of).
How to apply: dosage and treatment
Usually set individually depending on the evidence.
Inside, for breast cancer, kidney - 20-40 mg 1-2 times a day (morning and evening).
Nolvadex tablets should be taken without chewing, with a small amount of liquid, at one time in the morning or divided into 2 doses, in the morning and evening.
Side effects
Hot flashes, vaginal bleeding, endometrial hyperplasia, vulvar pruritus, dyspeptic disorders, dizziness, water retention in the body, hypercalcemia, thrombocytopenia, alopecia, uterine fibroids, leukopenia, thromboembolism.
Potentiates the effect of anticoagulants. When combined with cytotoxic agents, thromboembolic complications are possible.
