Cialis is an effective, reversible, selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) specific to cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). It enhances erections by increasing cGMP levels in the penis's cavernous body, promoting blood flow. Cialis has no effect without sexual stimulation and works for 36 hours.
