Stendra: Indications and Usage
The drug is used in men to eliminate impotence (erectile dysfunction). The drug causes relaxation of smooth muscles and blood flow to the tissues of the penis, contributing to an erection.
Use Stendra by following conditions:
- Prolonged, painful erection, not associated with sexual arousal;
- Anatomical deformation of the penis;
- Stroke or myocardial infarction, which occurred in the past six months;
- Cardiovascular diseases in which sexual activity is contraindicated;
Dosage and Administration
The initial recommended dose is 100 mg. The treatment of the drug can be adjusted depending on the individual characteristics. Thus, the procedure can be increased to 200 mg. The duration is four to six hours.
Side Effects
Common side effects include:
- Headache,
- Hot flashes,
- Runny nose,
- Back pain,
- Nasal congestion,
- Sore throat.
Other side effects may include drowsiness, nausea, blurred vision, tachycardia, dizziness, muscle tension, palpitations, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
In case of overdose, stop using Stendra and consult a doctor.
